This week my 5th period class has been working on a teaching type web site called Glogster. We were using Glogster to show our teacher what we knew about reflexive verbs and pronouns. I liked using this method of showing our knowledge rather then taking a written test. I liked how we had the freedom to say what we wanted on our Glogster instead of taking a test in which we could not put the information in our own words. In all Glogster was a real good way to show what we knew and how we could be creative in learning.

Today we are doing an assignment about Nelson Cruz. Nelly is a good player that places on the Texas Rangers. In game two of NLCS the game was tied at 4-4 and Nelly came up and jacked a grand slam to win in the bottom of the 11th. Because of that my teacher is letting us use him as an example to learn spanish.

 

Nelson Cruz es de Republica Dominicano. Él es jugador de beísbolista por Texas Rangers. Nelly es treinta y uno. Nelly es un grande y alto. También toca con la derecha feild. Cruz es muy atlético y embrague. Nelly es un jugador de equipo y simpático. Él es la señora. hugghins jugador favorito porque es impresionante en el embrague.

We went to the plato lab and got on the wed site stixy.com and made sentences with pictures. Then we put it on our blog along with our other things.

The first thing I did was get on the voki web site. Then I picked the kind of character I wanted which was a skeleton. The last thing I did was make a temperary greeting for him. Over the weekend I called in to the people and read them my “about me” paragraph and emailed it to Mrs. Hugghins.

I liked this project because we got to make a avatar and it has our voice in spanish and im getting to learn how to use a blog which i hear is really helpful these days. I didnt like this project because using the blog is pretty difficult.
